PARKINSON was a pioneering ROCK group from Zaragoza in the early 80s. Their energetic sound drew from the sources of punk-rock, postpunk or new-wave, covering both DEVO and KILLING JOKE or JOHNNY THUNDERS. Their live shows had intensity and power, together with the quality of the combative, social and witty songs and lyrics, always honestly carrying their underground attitude during their short existence.
Their connection with other groups of the time such as MAS BIRRAS or IV REICH was constant. They shared rehearsal spaces, they performed together in many concerts, on occasion a member of one group played in another: Pati and Edu played in IV REICH, Quino later in MAS BIRRAS...
They did not record an album, but there were various recordings left in the rehearsal room, concerts, and radio and television programs. After hard work mastering the material found, these 12 songs that make up the album were selected and have been divided into two periods with one side of the album for each:

A side has 5 songs sung by Jota and includes the famous “Bolinga total”.
Taken from recordings at the venue and from the Musicaire television program. The sound is what it is, but you can appreciate Boxi's sharp guitars, Pati's powerful bass rhythm section and Edu's drums. Jota's voice clearly shows the message of his lyrics.
B side includes 7 songs rescued from a live recording in Alcañiz.
At this time the singer is Quino who also provides a second guitar.
The recording shows the energy they gave off in their live shows, with their contagious, powerful and combative rock that is evident in the last song on the album, the also famous “I don't want to burst”.
